FAQ

I'd like a special theme for my sign rental, how do I know if it's available?  
If your unsure whether we carry a certain theme, it's best to contact us in advance by email at allstarsignskaty@gmail.com. We carry lots of themes but may not have your particular theme in our inventory or available. We try to work with you to come up with an alternative, if possible. We are unable to carry all themes, so it's best to be flexible and have alternatives.  If you have a special theme request that we don't have available, you can give us 14 days advance notice to have it created and you will cover the additional cost. 

When do you install and pickup signs? 
We install signs in the evenings between 7pm -11:30pm.  Pickup is the following evening in the same time range.     

Do you take last minute orders?  
Yes.  There are additional fees for last minute bookings and we also require that you water sufficiently before we arrive. See booking page for last minute fees. 

Do you handle everything or is there anything I will need to do?  We handle the design, delivery, installation, and picking up of yard cards. We do not need you to be present during installation and we do not allow any touching of our yard cards. If any damage occurs to any portion of the sign during the rental, you may receive an invoice for replacement pieces.  If you need anything adjusted or moved during your rental, you will need to contact us. If you need the sign picked up early, you will need to contact us. We do need you to start watering a few days before installation and we ask that you follow our recommendation for watering we send via email. Per the rental agreement, if we arrive and are unable to install the yard sign due to a dry yard, we will not proceed with installation. We provide you with a watering schedule. If unable to install due to a dry yard, you will still be billed 50% of the sign order, to cover our preparation and gas/mileage to and from.  

Do you install anywhere at the house (if a house installation)?  
We only install signs in the front yards of houses.  Businesses are an exception - please contact us if you are a business. 
 
Can I mow or trim around the sign? 
No. Do not mow or have a mowing service come out during sign rental days. They can potentially damage our signs and we really want the signs to be enjoyed by all! Any damage will be added to your bill.   

What if the weather is bad? 
If there is hazardous weather that prevents us from installing or picking up your sign rental (severe thunderstorms, high winds, or freezing precipitation) we will attempt to reschedule your delivery or pickup for another day. If unable to reschedule, we'll provide a full refund. If winds gusts are over 25 mph on installation night for a 3-level sign, we will install a 2-level sign and refund the difference in cost to you.
